Adult Ministries

"Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good..."

Titus 2:2-3

Philosophy of Adult Ministry

True spiritual growth occurs within the context of intentional, gospel-centered communities where life-on-life discipleship with the Word of God is the standard for the transformation of the mind (Romans 12:2; 2 Timothy 4:2). We believe that spiritual maturity is not a solo endeavor but a communal pursuit of holiness among the saints, providing the necessary environment for training in growth and the practical application of Sunday’s teaching to daily life (Hebrews 10:24-25). Our adult ministries foster a covenantal atmosphere where older believers are equipped to minister to the world and their families, passing down a legacy of faithfulness and sound doctrine to the next generation (Titus 2:3-5). This investment in the local body ultimately fuels the Great Commission, as matured disciples are sent out to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe everything Christ has commanded (Matthew 28:19).

Adult Sunday Bible Studies

Join us this Sunday morning at 9:30 AM or 11:00 AM for adult bible classes that meet to learn from the Bible.
The Book of Acts - 9:30 AM - Starting September 13
  • Teacher(s):
Join us for an in-depth study of the book of Acts, tracing the unstoppable advance of the gospel from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. This historical narrative records how the ascended Christ continues His work through the early church, the courageous testimony of the apostles, and the sovereign expansion of God's grace to both Jew and Gentile alike. Discover how the sovereign purposes of God triumphed over every wave of persecution to establish His covenant people. Come ready to be challenged and built up in your faith as we examine the foundation of the Christian church together.
Couples Class - 11:00 AM - Starting September 13
  • Teacher(s):
Join us this year as we grow together in our knowledge of God and His Word. Throughout the year, we will study The Attributes of God, discovering who God has revealed Himself to be and how a deeper understanding of His character transforms our worship, marriage, parenting, and daily walk with Christ. We will also work verse by verse through 1 John, learning what it means to have genuine fellowship with God, walk in the light, love one another, and live with the assurance of eternal life. Whether you are newly married or have been married for several years, this study is designed to encourage and equip young couples to build Christ-centred homes firmly grounded in the truth of Scripture.
Biblical Worldview - 11:00 AM - Starting September 13
  • Teacher(s): -
In an age characterized by shifting cultural currents and competing ideologies, cultivating a steadfast biblical worldview has never been more vital for the believer. This class is designed to equip you with the scriptural tools necessary to evaluate modern philosophies and discern truth from error through the lens of God's unchanging Word. We will explore how Scripture provides an absolute standard for understanding reality, morality, and human identity in a confused culture. Come prepared to deepen your intellectual and spiritual stand firm with divine truth.
The Epistle of James: God’s Plan for Spiritual Maturity - 11:00 AM - Starting September 13
  • Teacher: Manuele Russo
Often called the “Proverbs of the New Testament,” James challenges believers to live out their faith with wisdom, humility, perseverance, and obedience to God’s Word. Together, we will discover how genuine faith transforms daily life, strengthens our walk with Christ, and helps us face trials with confidence and hope. Come grow with us as we learn to be “doers of the word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22).
Reading Scripture with Your Church Family - 11:00 AM - Starting September 13
  • Teacher: Dr. Joel Arnold
Have you struggled to consistently read through large portions of Scripture? Why not do it out loud with a group? This fall, we will read through the Minor Prophets, the historical books and Psalms to give us the background for our Sunday morning preaching series. In the Spring we will read through the entire New Testament. By taking turns reading just a few verses at a time, we'll cover much of Scripture together—no preparation or prior knowledge required. Just come, listen, read, and grow in God's Word.

Midweek Adult Bible Studies

Ladies Bible Study: 7:00 PM - Starting September 2

In this verse-by-verse study, the ladies will dive into Genesis 1-11 by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

Men's Bible Study: 7:00 PM - Starting September 2

In this Men’s group this year we are locking in on the essential scriptures that form the bedrock of our Christian faith and manhood. Together, we will examine core passages that define our identity in Christ, our call to faithful spiritual leadership, and our daily walk of obedience. This study is designed to sharpen one another through the power of God's Word, encouraging each man to stand firm in truth and integrity. Come ready to be challenged, strengthened, equipped, and to apply these vital truths to our families, workplaces, and communities.

Strong Foundations: 7:00 PM - Starting September 2

This class is designed to help you firmly grasp the essential truths and core doctrines of the Christian faith — who God is, the finished work of Jesus Christ, and walking daily as a new creation in Him. It's open discussion: whether you're new to the faith or have walked with Christ for years, bring your questions — from what a doctrine means to how to find a book of the Bible. No question is too basic, and each week stands on its own, so jump in any time. Come lay a strong, unshakable foundation for a life in Christ.
