Meadowlands offers a variety of opportunities for adults to know God, serve others, and reach out with the gospel.
Sincere Hearts Ladies’ Ministry
“Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart.” 1 Peter 1:22
All Meadowlands ladies are encouraged to take part in this ministry. The purpose of the group is to edify and challenge one another with each one’s gifts and abilities and develop “iron sharpening iron” friendships through the unity of the Gospel. Activities are planned throughout the year and participants can join the group’s Facebook page to keep encouraged and to pray for one another.
20’s & 30’s Couples Ministry
The 20’s & 30’s couples ministry of Meadowlands Baptist church is a discipleship group for young married couples that focuses on building and fortifying relationships thru the teaching of scripture (2 Timothy 3:16) and fellowship opportunities (Acts 2:42) while intentionally living out life for Christ and for one another. Young at Heart (55+)
Seniors are often an untapped blessing and source of wisdom and encouragement for the next generations.
Young at Heart is a 55+ seniors ministry dedicated to the discipling and equipping of seniors in building a godly legacy for the service of Christ’s church. Come and fellowship with us! See the information booth for our upcoming church coffee fellowship dates
Bible Study Groups
Our Bible study groups are some of the best ways to get connected with others in the church. Each Sunday morning our groups meet to fellowship, pray, and study the Word. Rather than lecture style, many of our groups are designed for discussion and interaction.
Sunday Lunch
Several times throughout the year the church provides a meal to everyone who gathers for worship on Sunday. Guests are always encouraged to stay for the lunch. This is one of the best way to get to know others in the church family. We are a group of believers that like to spend time with each other, especially around food!
Activities
We are an active congregation with many opportunities to build strong friendships and interact with others. We have banquets, fellowships, picnics, and athletic competitions. There are many good ways to share life with other Christians on a deeper level.
Men’s & Ladies’ Retreats
We participate in annual retreats for both men and women with other churches in Western Canada. In addition to receiving practical teaching from the Scriptures, it is also a great time to build edifying friendships where “iron sharpens iron.”
